Protected Land Navigation System
Tectonica’s Protected Land Navigation System, LanNAV™ Advanced, Embedded and Targeting, is a fully integrated military-off-the-shelf protected navigation system that provides advanced navigation capability regardless of jamming attempts or terrain masking.
Advanced
LanNAV™ – Advanced uses Honeywell’s TALIN™500 Inertial Navigation Unit with rugged ring laser gyroscopes and Honeywell’s Vehicle Motion Sensor to provide protection from GPS jamming, spoofing and terrain masking. Tectonica’s CDU-NAV™ provides the Human Machine Interface, and the system uses a Military CANbus architecture for data communications.
Embedded
LanNAV™ – Embedded addresses the need for space in modern armoured fighting vehicles. It uses the TALIN™500 with embedded GPS receiver and requires only displays, inertial sensor and VMS to provide highly accurate navigation.
Targeting
LanNAV™ – Targeting incorporates a Turret Azimuth Encoder and Laser Range Finder. Advanced target management software enables commanders to locate, communicate and track targets with a high degree of accuracy.
